Oh god the original myth goes something like “Frost Giantess threatens to kill pretty much all of Asgard because they’ve ruined her happiness. Loki claims he can make her smile again, even though they killed her father and made her life miserable. She’s like oh yeah? Try your best. And I’m thinking shit Loki you’re going to do something totally lame that w-OH MY GOD THERE’S A GOAT ATTACHED TO YOUR BALLS AHAHAHAHAAHA.” If it worked on me I figure it’s believable storytelling to work on the giantess too. Good job Norse guys.
